Apple iPhone 6 Rumors, Leaked Images And More

As everyone are aware with the rumors of iPhone 6 spreading all around the globe and internet, many speculations has arise as whether they are true despite the leaks from other media ? The birth of iPhone 6 rumors started a month after iPhone 5S was launched and was in it’s early stage of growth. According to the news released by Bloomberg, (I don’t know how they got this information) they announced that Apple is planning on the production of 2 next generation iPhones with bigger and larger screen. It is said to have screens having “curves down the edges”(source).

The iPhone 6 is believed (note the word) to come in 2 sizes of 4.7″ and 5.5″ respectively. Such expansion of the screen size suggest that Apple is planning and trying to enter the “Phablet” market (a term coined by media) which is currently dominated by Apple’s rival in this case is Samsung flagship Product Galaxy Note 3. An image has been leaked(source1, source 2) which supports the rumor that in fact Apple is making bigger size iPhones. (See the picture below)

Another rumor surrounding the iPhone 6 is that the displays will be made of sapphire-crystal components that give much more solid response from finger touch. Sapphire-crystal components had been used by Apple for camera lens, sensors and recently for TouchID. However bringing these components onto the screen display will be new standards set by Apple in Smartphone industry. Till now most of the devices have gorilla glass displays but sapphire-crystal display? I will leave that to the industry analyst to determine the impact of new display glass. Last year Apple and GT advance reached an agreement to operate the production of Sapphire-crystal displays in Mesa, Arizona. This year new information has surfaced that Apple is aggressively pushing to start the operations in early February and found out that it is critical for Apple’s future devices. But why such a hurry? Thanks to analyst Matt Margolis (source) it seems they aren’t focusing producing these components for TouchID or camera lenses and sensors but they are planning to produce sapphire-crystal display for future iPhones. This is likely a hint that iPhone 6 might come with sapphire-crystal display. Furthermore Apple has applied for a patent technology based on sapphire-crystal display detailing the responses coming from a light and heavy finger touch press which more likely gives us a hint that Apple is really looking forward for Sapphire-crystal display.

The launch date for these new devices are yet to be announced. No one knows what tricks and surprises Apple has up its sleeves but as usual they launch their devices every year and that happens in early September. These are all rumors and they can be fake or might be true so take it with a pinch of salt. Hopefully, Apple is taking notes of these rumors and implement some of the appropriate concept and designs into their future flagship product iPhone 6.
