How to Block Calls on iOS 7
How To Determine If you Have Been Blocked By Another iPhone User iOS 7/iOS 8
Apple first introduced the feature for blocking contacts in iOS 7. This can be a very productive way to eliminate annoying callers or someone who always seems to call at the wrong time. Although, its not a difficult task to block a contact but it could be easier but we won’t get into that now. Just so we are all on the same page here is the procedure for blocking a contact. The first thing to remember when doing this is you must remove the blocked caller if you change your mind in the future and want to receive calls. You will not receive phone calls, messages, or FaceTime calls from people on your block list. There are several different ways to add persons to the blocked list. We are only going to share one here just so everyone reading this understands what we are referring too and knows at least one method for blocking contacts on iOS 7 and iOS 8. How To Determine if You Have Been Blocked By Another User On iOS 7 or iOS 8

iPhone Blocked list
Method #1 Read Receipts
The most obvious way to figure out if you have been added to the “Block” list is through iMessage. iMessage allows users to see when a person has read their iMessage through read receipts. Most users will have this feature enabled already. Read Receipts are a simple way to let others know when you have read the message and that you have read the message. You will see tiny word, “read” beside the message as opposed to “delivered” after reading the message.
In order to determine whether you are blocked or not you can only guess but with some certainty. If you send an iMessage which doesn’t change from “delivered” to “Read”, this could mean you have been blocked.
Anyone who doesn’t have Read Receipts turned on to begin with will be unable to use this method.
Method #2
Number of rings before voice mail picks up could be a clue. Most the time when you call someone who doesn’t answer the call will allow 4-5 rings before voicemail picks up. After being blocked, the blocked caller will hear one ring then straight to voicemail. Although, there could be situations which causes voicemail to pick up after one ring not likely for several calls so try multiple calls.
Method #3 Facetime Calls
Try making Facetime calls over a period of time such as a few days to see if you receive a response. If you do receive a response you know most likely you are not blocked.
These are only clues, not definite ways to determine whether you have been blocked or not. So keep that in mind but they do give very good clues when trying to determine if you are in fact blocked by another person.
