Looking for a way to customize that boring stock keyboard color within your iOS, ColorYourBoard can change the colors for you. Its an application that solely helps you to change the color of the keyboard to anything you like. The app includes features like color wheel , something you can find in image editing applications, select your brightness and transparency colors as well.
Once you install this tweak, an app icon is created on your homescreen rather than setting up a preference pane in the Settings menu. Open the application and you’ll see a color wheel (similar to photo editing applications like photoshop). To select a color, move your finger around the circle wheel to select your desired color or you can select from the list of 6 colors displayed at the bottom of the interface. You can adjust the brightness and transparency with the two sliders located beneath the color wheel.
Once you have configure your settings and adjusted the brightness and transparency, click the Save button at the top right corner of the application and a pop up appears confirming the saved settings. Just go to any application that can display the keyboard and experience the fresh new look of the board.
There is a rectangular box located beneath the TurnOff button which has been bugging me since I have downloaded it. It seems that you can select different colors for your letters and keyboard background but however I couldn’t succeed in setting two different colors. Seems like a bug to me. Anyway, every application launched have a bug or glitch in their early version.
If you want to give this tweak a try, it is available on Cydia for $1.99.
