Apple has pushed iOS 8.2 beta 3 to developers today. iOS 8.2 will be bringing the WatchKit API to developers allowing them to begin developing apps for the Apple Watch, slated to come in early 2015. The beta firmware will be available through Apple’s iOS Developer Center.
The beta release comes at an odd time. Considering Apple usually seeds iOS betas to developers on Monday or Tuesday.
We’re not sure what’s new in the firmware, because we’re downloading the betas ourselves. If you notice any changes, please leave a comment below.
The Apple Watch will be available in 2015, and will start at $349.
