Apple has many new features in iOS 16 that most users will enjoy. However, the new search function may not be so welcomed. Many users will wonder where this has been all their time ion using iOS devices. While others may want to crash the iPhone to the floor. Personally, I think the search button will be very useful. But, if for some reason you may want to get rid of it permanently or just for while we have you covered.
It all comes down to a simple toggle switch under settings. Getting rid of the Search button at the bottom of the home screen is much easier than you may think. On your iPhone 14 or any device, you may be running iOS 16 currently on, open Settings and toggle off the Show on Home screen button underneath “Search”.
Once you have toggled the Search button off you may still search the iOS device by swiping down from the top anywhere on the iOS devices screen.
