The Seta smartphone stand is a project which has been running on KickStarter for a while now. They were trying to raise $20,000 but have exceeded their goal greatly in half the time needed. They pledged a $20,000 goal but have already raised almost $80,000.
The Seta Smartphone stand is designed for the iPhone, Galaxy, and other smartphones. The only thing necessary for using this stand is the device needs to have a flat back. It has a cutout for the device to be able to charge while on the stand.
One of the greatest benefits of this stand is the ability to use a case with the stand. Just as long as the case has a flat surface on the back its good to go. The nano-suction pads hold the phone securely with no problems. I have actually been able to use my iPad mini with the stand without any problems. The company actually has different size nano suction pads for holding heavier devices such as the iPads or larger Android tablets. They sell extra pads for people wanting to put them in different places. The cost is very affordable at two for $10. The pads last for many thousands of uses. If you feel they need cleaned just take a damp cloth or piece of tape and remove any debris you might see sticking to the nano suctions pad. The stand can be purchased in a few different colors such as black, white, pink, and silver. They may add more colors later on but at the time of this writing those were the options available.
The Seta stand can be purchased on KickStarter for a pledge of $19-$25. It’s impossible to buy any type of idevice stand for that price. So grab a stand a few pads and stick your idevice any place you choose. Whether it be the fridge, bathroom, above an electrical outlet for charging, or beside the bed for waking up early.
