The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus release has finally come and gone.  Many users have been lucky enough to get their hands on a device, while others are still anxiously waiting for theirs to arrive.  Regardless whether you have the iPhone 6 yet or not you will need a way to protect it once you are able to get your hands on it.  We have found Five of the best cases and sites for preparing your iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus to become world ready. However, I am sorta partial to the Otterbox Defender Series.  Some users may find them to be a bit bulky but they have proven to protect my devices time after time.  My most recent device was the iPhone 5 and when I bought the device I purchased the Otterbox Defender at the same time.  When I decided to stop carrying the iPhone 5 every day after getting the iPhone 6 I removed it from the case.  The iPhone 5 looked as if it did the first day I received it.  There wasn’t a scratch anywhere on front or back.  So maybe sacrificing a bit of bulkiness isn’t so bad when you know you are receiving full protection in return.  Also, I couldn’t count the number of times I dropped my iPhone 5 on concrete and blacktop.  So protect your iPhone 6 and put your mind at ease.  Otterbox also make a Commuter series which offers great protection without all the bulkiness overall for the entire case.

LifeProof is also an excellent choice for protection.  It was recently acquired by Otterbox as a company.  So basically, they are like brothers I guess in the case market.  They offer a couple different models for protection against waterproof and drop proof.  Although, at the time of this post the iPhone 6 and Plus cases aren’t available yet.  This should be ready any day and I can assure you the protection is worth the wait.  Users using the Lifeproof cases can take photos underwater in depths up to 6.6 ft.  They come in a couple different models which are the Nuud and Fre.  The prices for the Nuud iPhone 5S start around $90 and $80 for the Fre depending where you buy them online.  However, if you buy them from Ebay you will not receive their warranty.  If you want you can buy the Lifeproof brand for other iOS devices too.

I am also a lover of the wallet cases for the iPhone.  One of my favorite wallet cases for the iPhone 5 was the BookBook by TwelveSouth.  Unfortunately, they haven’t started selling them yet for the iPhone 6.  They do have a website you can sign up to be notified when they ship.  Another great Wallet case maker is Belkin cases. Belkin makes a case called the Classic Folio for iPhone 6 that offers great usability as well as protection while you carry and transport inside your backpack or pocket.  The Classic Folio for iPhone is available for both models with a price of $34.99.  They also come in two different colors which are black or blue.  The case has one single card slot for storage.

Some users prefer a case which is very minimal.  If that be the case for you then the Speck CandyShell Case for the iPhone 6 is a great fit.  It claims to add only 0.16 inch to the iPhone 6 thickness and made with two layers of military grade materials for the ultimate protection.  Speck CandyShell have always been a very popular case right from there beginning.  Users can grab one of the many different colorful cases for $34.95.
