Mountain Lion was released July 25, 2012 and I updated my iPhone 4S to firmware 5.1.1. Wow, was this a surprise, Mountain Lion 10.8 was not compatible with Absinthe at this time(July 29, 2012). So to get my jailbreak badk I used a windows complter(uggg) to jailbreak my iPhone 4S.
The jailbreak is super easy for the iPhone 4S. Follow these instructions which any breathing person can accomplish. Jailbreaking has come a long ways from thew old days when you had to do several steps. Now you simply download the jailbreak software which in our case is Absinthe, connect your device, and follow the on screen directions.
