Beats Music Featured

Is the price of Beats Music too high?  In comparison to other streaming services such as Spotify, no.  According to re/code, Apple is looking into lowering the price of its newly acquired Beats Music service.  The report says Apple is speaking with major record labels about new features and rights to bring down the $10/month price.

The conversation has only began.  Apple isn’t planning to overhaul Beats Music until next year.  Critics question wether or not the fruit company has enough to offer to convince the record labels to bring down the price.  Better yet, if they’ll even agree upon the price cut.

Apple is known for revamping industries, so if anyone could do, it would most definitely be Apple.  With the A team at Apple, and new cumbers Jimy Iovine and Dr. Dre.  Iovine co-founded Interscope Records, so it wouldn’t be too surprising if he had say in this.

Both executives were recently hired as part of the $3 billion partnership with Beats Electronics.  The deal covered the Beats Music streaming service, which is slated for a much needed redesign and rebranding to be apart of the iTunes family.
