Here we have it again! This week’s list of best Cydia tweaks that you need to have on your device. If you’ve been keeping up with our previous posts, you may have already found a tweak for you to enjoy using. If you’re looking for new tweaks to try out, here are some of the best we can recommend this week, in no particular order:
One of the newest jailbreak tweaks available this week is CyNotifier. Through this tweak, Cydia is tied into the stock notification system of iOS so you get that natural feel on your device with notifications for banner, Lock Screen, and Notification Center. At the same time, the tweak gives you a notification once package updates are already available for your installed packages. The tweak allows you to set up your own update interval so you can minimize battery usage. This tweak is available for a free download.
Another free jailbreak tweak that you has made its way to this list is SmoothCursor. If you want your device to feel like Office 2010 when you’re typing on the screen, you can use SmoothCursor tweak to help you out. The developer has intended this for those who like having their cursors blink as they’re typing something on the screen. You may or may not like it, depending on your own preference.
For $0.99, you can get the new package of animated dynamic wallpapers called Particle Wallpapers. With this tweak, you get to apply a cool animated particle wallpaper on your Home Screen or Lock Screen. Once you’ve downloaded the tweak, you may activate it by going to Settings > Wallpapers. The tweak comes with a number of wallpapers to choose from so you can easily find one you’ll enjoy. But the best part is, they don’t consume more battery than Apple’s own dynamic wallpapers.
HiddenConvos Pro is another jailbreak tweak we recommend this week. It can be downloaded for $1.50 and you’ll already be able to have control on what conversation threads on your device’s Messages app can be displayed, hidden, and when. If you have some private conversation threads, you can keep them out of nosy people by using the Touch ID security, integrated passcode, and special gestures.
Lastly, Messages Tag is a pretty handy tweak that you can use for your device. This is a new tweak that allows you to color-code each of your conversation threads on your Messages app. With the use of this tweak, you’ll be able to categorize each of your messages accordingly so you can declutter your conversations. You can even choose which colors to use when making tags. Pretty neat, huh?
