Being on Youtube, I have needed to do this a number of times, However, today we will share how to record your iOS device’s screen using only the iOS device. There’s many different software’s available on the market today which can help do this much easter and looks much better in post editing. However, they have high prices to. This way is 100% FREE and Does Not require a Jailbreak or any other kind of magic.

This is definitely one of the questions I get asked on a regular basis. Normally I use Screenflow and Reflector together to accomplish this. Reflector is used to get the screen to appear on the Mac screen through WiFi and ScreenFlow lets me record my screen and audio together while including my FaceTime camera on the screen to record myself, if I so choose.

Step by Step instructions for recording iOS 10 Devices Screen

Open Safari browser and visit
Once the Vidyo has completed you will need to open settings > general > profiles and device management from here you will need to find the latest profile installed an tap “trust”
After trusting the profile you can now open the Vidyo app
Inside the Vidyo app you tap capture in bottom left corner
Choose the setup you wish to have iPhone mic on, back and front camera settings, and keep files which allows you to mix in different apps
You should be ready to give it a whirl.
You should get a popup too allow your mic access, camera, and photo camera roll. This is all 100% normal.

You should now be able to record your screen from inside any application you want. Also, just a heads up you will not be able to hear any sound coming from apps while you are recording. It’s working and being recorded but you just can’t hear it. There will also be a blueish stripe across status bar when recording is in session.
