The clam case all in one keyboard case stand for ipad offers great usability. The case can be purchased for all generations of the iPad. I have been trying to acquire one the clam case for quite some time. Based on what I have seen online there was a brief delay for customers receiving shipments on time in the beginning. So it’s safe to say that Clamcase is a popular case and has been from the start. My personal experience with the Clamcase has been an enjoyable one. If users need a keyboard the Clamcase is worth checking out.
The ClamCase keyboard gives the users a Macbook pro feeling and look. If you are like me and consider yourself a Mac fanatic, then the Clamcase will be a no brainer. That’s not to say Windows fans won’t like the Clamcase. The Clam case will appeal to anyone with an ipad who need a keyboard.
One feature which attracted me and makes the Clamcase different from others is the 360 degree hinge. This allows the ipad to be used in a tablet position while being inside the Clamcase. It can swivel completely over for using the device in tight places such as plane rides. It can also be used as a stand for using the ipad as a touch screen with the keyboard under it.
The case comes in three different color selections. They are white, black, and trooper. The Trooper is like the luxury model. Its white trimmed in black. The key functions of the case are the same on all colors and models. It’s only a physical appearance which changes between them. The ClamCases top row of keys are for performing commonly-used features such as controlling volume, play, stop, forward, rewind, home, lock, search, and more. It offers a total of fourteen different function keys.
The key travel, which is the distance it takes to depress a
button on the keyboard, is pretty close to the same as the MacBook Pro. The Clamcase has a very nice feel while your hands are touching the keys. The dimensions of the entire Clamcase are just a little bit larger than the iPad. It only adds a bit over a pound to the total weight of the combination. The battery life is very impressive with a standby time of a hundred days and a charge time of only 90 min. So to get a full complete charge it only takes 90 min. compared to many other keyboards which recommend charging 8 hours before using. The Clamcase comes with its own USB plug for charging included. For the $149 price tag which comes attached with the case I thought it should have included a wall charger but the iPad charger will work for now. So if you’re going be going away for the weekend and don’t want carry the laptop consider the Clamcase keyboard. I think this would be a great option and lighten the load of your suitcase.

Overall, the ClamCase would definitely be my first choice for purchasing a bluetooth keyboard for the ipad. The Clamcase sells for $149 retail but I have found it cheaper.
