Common Cydia Error Fix iOS 10 to 10.2
Today when I opened Cydia I got the error message you see in the pic above. This type of error message seems to be pretty common. How to fix common errors seen on screen when opening Cydia. Whether this is the correct way to fix it or not I’m not sure. However, this will remedy the issue and keep the error message from appearing. It’s a very safe and fast way to fix it also.
How To Fix Common Cydia Error Messages Appearing iOS 10 – 10.3
- If the message appearing is repo or source related as mine was in the photo above just delete the repo. If the repo owner doesn’t take better care of it, well I don’t need it. These type errors messages don’t seem to come from BigBoss or ModMyi every day.
- Open Cydia > Tap Sources > Edit > Tap “-“ symbol beside the repo you wish to remove. Be very sure you have the correct one.
- Sources will run down the screen updating and removing all the packages. Keep in mind you can’t use anything in the repo after removing. So it’s a catch 22 here. But who needs these errors.
- Close Cydia From the App Switcher
- It really would be best to run iCleaner Pro but not a have to case. It’s always good to run iCleaner Pro after deleting anything on the device. This can really eliminate problems from occurring down the road.
- After iCleaner Pro finishes you are ready to open Cydia and start using again.
