There are times when you have performed an iTunes sync and all your music got transferred from PC to your iDevices. However some of the music do not have an album or cover flow, some simply are corrupted and it is not displayed properly, and sometimes a wrong cover flow is displayed. CoverArtExplorer gives you the capability to change or assign a new picture for a particular music cover flow.
Once CoverArtExplorer is installed, an application icon is added to the home screen rather than a preference pane in the settings menu. Launching this app, will display all the music album in the iDevices those save both on local memory and on iCloud storage. The tabs at the bottom of the app allow the user to browse their music by artist name, album or songs. Tapping on any song in the app interface will bring up a sheet will allow you to either delete the current cover flow artwork or assign a new artwork either from the library or from google image search engine.
When users decided to change the artwork, a warning notification pops up on the screen warning the user that the current artwork will be deleted and replaced with the new artwork that they have selected and asking for confirmation either to carry on or cancel it.
There are two buttons located at the top of the application. The left button is refresh button which will refresh the music library and the users can confirm if the artwork they wanted to change has actually been replaced and saved. The right button is share button where users can share one or multiple musics.
CoverArtExplorer is a handy tool as you can change the artwork of the music anytime without ever getting connected to your PC/laptops. The custom cover flow will be displayed both in the music player and on the lock screen. It also works with other 3rd party music player applications.
