Delay Read Receipts Tweak Controls iMessage Read Receipts
I must admit I am one of these iMessage users who look at every message to see when it’s being read when I send it but when I read it I want to wait to prevent the sender from knowing when I have read it. Thankfully, yo the new tweak called Delay Read Receipts for iOS 10 now I can control how the other person sees when I have read the iMessage.
Yes, it’s possible to turn the read receipts off under settings > Message. However, I prefer to know when my message is being read, though. Kind of a love/hate thing but a bit hypocritical In a sense too.
Check out this new tweak called Delay Read Receipts in BigBoss Repo for Free. It allows users to choose to send the read receipt when they start typing a return message or when they send a new message. Preferably, I say to me the later option suits me better. Why send it when you start typing the message. If I begin typing the message I will complete it and send it so making typing option unnecessary the way I see it.

Delay Read Receipts Tweak Description:
Compatible with iOS 10
Do not send a read receipt in iMessage until starting typing a reply or sending the message.
If you choose “When Sending msg,” the recipient will not see typing “…” until you actually send the message
Configure Options in Preferences.
I would like to see the developer enable these on a per contact basis too. I think that’s what we need most. Because I have certain people who I could care less when they read my messages or I read their’s but on the other hand I have others which I want to control when they see I have read their messages.
Which is your preference? Do you think this tweak serves a purpose or is it a waste? Will you be installing it?
