As unbelievable as it sounds we received countless questions asking how to install Cydia after its been accidentally removed. I couldn’t imagine what was happening or what you were doing to delete Cydia but anyway we have the fix. It does require a computer so you will need one. Hey, you are the one who deleted Cydia, don’t fuss at me. LOL
How To install Cydia after accidental Delete iOS 10
Prerequisites:
- A jailbroken iOS device running iOS 10/10.1.1/10.2 How To Jailbreak iOS 10 Using Yalu Jailbreak 10.2
- A computer PC/Mac
- Download iFunbox (has both Mac/PC available)
- Download Putty
- Download latest version of Cydia 1.1.28
HOW TO REINSTALL CYDIA AFTER DELETING IT BY MISTAKE ON IOS 10/10.1.1/10.2 [IFUNBOX]
Step 1 Start iFunBox.
Step 2 Drag the cydia_1.1.28-b14_iphoneos-arm.deb file into iBooks.
Step 2 Start Putty.
Step 3 Navigate to QuickToolBox > USB Tunnel in iFunBox.
Step 4 Copy the PC Address value. If PC Address is not visible, rejailbreak your device with Yalu. Open Yalu102 App and tap “go”
Step 5 Go back to Putty and enter the PC Address as the Host Name and press enter.
Step 7 Enter your credentials as given below
login – root
password – alpine
Do Not include Parentheses only use what’s between them
Enter – “cd /var/mobile/Media/Books/lib”
Enter – “dpkg -i cydia_1.1.28-b14_iphoneos-arm.deb”
Enter – su mobile –c uicache
After a few moments, you should see Cydia Reinstalled on your iDevice running iOS 10
