Was you extremely excited to finally get Super Mario Run only to have it crash when you try to open it. Each time you tap the iCon on the home screen it tries to open but nothing seems to happen. Well you aren’t alone. The issue comes mainly from devices which are jailbroken. However, this isn’t always the case. We will share a fix for both jailbroken and non-jailbroken devices.

The developers in Cydia have had this problem in the past with other apps which can detect if a device has been jailbroken. The simple fix is go to Cydia and install tsProtector 8+. Once you have installed this from BigBoss Repo you will need to reboot your device and you should be in fine shape and ready to grab some coins.
It will cost you $1.99 to download this tweak in Cydia. But thats just a small price to pay to keep your jailbreak and still play iTunes apps without being detected. Once you install it open settings > tsProtector >Black List > Super Mario Run an turn it on.
Fix Super Mario Run Crashes on Non-Jailbroken Devices
The big thing with non-jailbroken devices is sometimes the download isn’t completed properly. Delete Super Mario Run and re download from the App Store.
