If you have been Jailbreaking for a period of time you are aware of the problems that can arise when the device needs to be restored. The only options that have been available in the previous jailbreaks was to update to the newest firmware and lose the jailbreak completely abd the ability to rejailbreak the device afterwards.
We have some awesome news to share with our Jailbreaking readers. There is now a tool available called Cydia Impactor. This tool allows users to re-Jailbreak and keep the current iOS firmware without needing to restore the device. This is a huge break through in the Jailbreak community. So if you are one of the users who are having issues with your iOS device and need to ReJailbreak follow the instructions below.
Important Notes: Compatible with iOS 8.3/8.4 Only Do Not Use On Other Firmware or you will lose Jailbreak!!!!
Follow The Instructions Step by Step:
Cydia Impactor is compatible with iOS 8.4 and 8.3 only.
Works with all iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models except iPod touch 6.
This is a beta release.
Step 1: On your jailbroken device, launch Cydia and install Cydia Impactor.
Step 2: Backup all of your data to either iTunes or iCloud.
Step 3: Turn off Find My iPhone from Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone.
Step 4: Plug-in the device, and make sure it is charged more than 50%.
Step 5: Launch Cydia Impactor.
Step 6: Tap finger on ‘delete all data and unjailbreak device’ at the bottom of the screen, followed by tapping on ‘Delete All’.
Step 7: Unjailbreak process will now begin. Just be patient and wait for the process to complete. This can take an extended amount of time depending on the data on the device and number of jailbreak tweaks installed.
Once you have completed the steps above your device will be in its original stock setup with al the jailbreak tweaks and data completely removed.
