How To increase text Size iPhone/iPad

Do you feel like you are straining to read the text on your iOS 7 device?  This can be for many reasons primarily age but not always the case.  Maybe you have poor vision or know someone who does that may need to increase the size of the text to read it more comfortably.  If we have to strain to read our devices chances are we aren’t going to use them as much.  Well we have the answer for how to increase the font size for iOS 7 devices.  It’s not as difficult as you may think.  Follow along and you can learn the process so you may share it with others.

How To Increase Font Size in iPhone/iPad Apps

Open Settings > General > Text Size

From this screen you can drag the slider to the desired size you want.  As you drag the slider to the right you will see the text increase in size right before your eyes.  When you have found a size you feel is comfortable to read just leave it alone.  The iPhone/iPad will know to change the text to that size inside any application which supports dynamic text.

Many users are familiar with the settings mentioned above but there is one more way to increase the font size Apple has added some users may not know.

Open settings > General > Accessibility > Larger Type

From here users can enable larger dynamic type which is a separate setting from the text size.  Both of these working together can yield a very large text size.  This gives users with very poor vision the ability to enjoy their iOS device.
