The controversial movie “The Interview” is now available to rent or purchase on iTunes. Apple originally denied Sony’s request to stream the movie alongside Netflix, Microsoft, and many others.
The film, just like any other film, is available to rent for $6 and available to purchase for $15.
Tim Cook and Co. reportedly was not interested, “at least not on a speedy time table,” says the New York Times.
iTunes Connect came online early Sunday morning, so Sony probably just uploaded the movie themselves.
The controversial movie was available in select smaller theaters Christmas day, and was available for streaming on YouTube, Google Play and a few others.
