Top Music Cydia Tweak iOS 7 2014

We haven’t had a great deal of awesome tweaks this year. However, thats exactly how I would classify, Impulse. It’s one of the years top Music Cydia Tweaks for certain. Impulse does a great job allowing users to control music playback while the device is locked using gestures. Users can even change the song be swiping right or left after tapping the screen while locked. Impulse is available in BigBoss Repo for $1.99.

Impulse has a few controls users can customize. However, the one setting everyone needs to keep turned on is the security tap. This “security tap” allows users to touch the screen without it effecting the music playing. Without this featured enabled the music could be turn on/off by touching the screen when just moving it. This setting prevents that from being the case. It also has a threshold setting which allows the tweak “what for gestures” before going to sleep itself. The threshold can be set from one minute all the way up to forever. Keep in mid that longer threshold periods could adversely effect battery life. So be sure you have adequate battery before setting this to a longer threshold. Below are a couple screenshots of the settings of the tweak.
