The Control Center has got 4 apps shortcut. These shortcuts are Flashlight, Clock, Calculator and Camera respectively. There is no way to configure these app shortcuts in the stock Settings. The tweak “Polus” bypass this limitation imposed by iOS and gives you the ability to add any app shortcut you desire in the control center.
This tweak gives you the power to customize the app shortcuts in the control center, change the order and style and many more. These options can be configured in its preference pane set up in the Settings menu.
From the preference pane, you can select to display as many app shortcuts you want from the “Select Apps” tab. If you have selected more than 4 apps shortcut for your control center, then it will fit the other apps shortcut in another page. All you need to do is to swipe left.
You can also rearrange the icons that suits your need and have those icons available at hand. For example you arrange the icons on the “most use” basis. From the “Arrange Order” tab, you can enable or disable to arrange the icons of the recently opened app first. If you want to arrange them manually, under the “Order by Recently Opened” you can tap and drag grabbers to position the apps icon accordingly. You can also change the appearance on these shortcuts such as size, pagination, opening the first page of shortcuts, using circular icons and modifying the glyph packages.
If you think the stock app shortcut in Control Center are useless or you use them infrequently and want to replace these shortcuts with the apps you use more frequently, then you have to give it a try. The tweak “Polus” is available on Cydia for $0.99. It is compatible with iOS 7 and supports iPhones, iPod touch and iPads.
