How To Record iOS Screen No Jailbreak Needed

Recording Display screen on iPhone, iPad, iPod running firmware iOS 7 or later. Theres a few different methods users can choose. I am going to share three different ways to Record your screen without the need of a jailbreak. That is correct, these methods below Do NOT Require a Jailbreak.

Option 1

This is the easiest and simplest method to use. It will also record the iPhone frame around the screen while recording. However, just like all other luxuries they are usually the most expensive and thats true here. This method will require the user to have both the Reflector App and ScreenFlow software.

Reflector App can be downloaded at http://www.airsquirrels.com/reflector/ It’s currently on sale for $10.39 but retails for $14.99 normally.

ScreenFlow can be downloaded in the http://www.telestream.net/company/contact-desktop-sales.htm. ScreenFlow retails for $99. Although, this is the most expensive it’s also my favorite. It offers great way to edit the screencast right in the software.

Option 2

Users may also record the screen using QuickTime. It will allow users to record both audio and video separately which may be combined together in an editing software later.

Option 3

This is the newest method available is called iRec Beta. Users can record gameplay and audio commentary directly from the device without the need of a computer. The footage can later be uploaded directly from the device. However, if you require any type of editing you will need to import the footage into iMovie or FCPX later. Install Emu4iOS.net on your iOS Device. Open http://emu4ios.net/ directly from your iOS device. Tap install and follow all the prompts. Keep in mind this is all safe so don’t be afraid to grant access. This will put an Emu4iOS icon on your springboard. Tap that icon and install iRec Beta.
