It seems there is currently a bug which allows users to downgrade from iOS 10 to iOS 9.x. Users may also upgrade from iOS 6, iOS 8 to iOS 9 without issues. The reason we haven’t said much about iOS 7 is the source we are using had not tested iOS 7.
