[easy-tweet tweet=”Re-Restore Bug Allows iOS 10 to iOS 9.x Downgrade” user=”iphonecaptain” hashtags=”downgradeios10,32bitdevicejailbreak,32bitdevicedowngrade”]It seems there is currently a bug which allows users to downgrade from iOS 10 to iOS 9.x. Users may also upgrade from iOS 6, iOS 8 to iOS 9 without issues. The reason we haven’t said much about iOS 7 is the source we are using had not tested iOS 7. Therefore, we don’t have good information stating it is downgradable or not. If you have tried it let us know your outcome in the comments below.
A few days ago a well-known team in the jailbreak community previously found a new bug, it bug allowed the 32-bit device to downgrade to any unsigned IOS 9 firmware. The only thing needed to be was previously saved SHSH blobs. Now I bet you wished to save those blobs. If you haven’t please do so asap.
This tool was to be released to the public but some time ago but a new discovery of bugs showed that it is possible to downgrade from IOS 10 to IOS 9 on any device, it was previously possible on 64-bit devices but now it’s also possible on 32-bit devices.

So now the question is that WHY IS IT MORE IMPORTANT FOR 32-BIT DEVICES??
A group of Jailbreak developers consisting of @ee_csw, @alitek123, @Thmitt, @DjSn0wfall, and @JonathanSeals are working on testing the bug more fully, as well as the developing custom new tool which will allow downgrades/restores. The main thing is to save those SHSH Blobs id you haven’t done so yet. Follow our guide below for step by step instructions.
As you may know, Apple has stopped supporting all the 32-bit except the iPhone 5 and iPad mini 4. This has left almost all the other 32-bit devices are stuck on IOS 9.3.5 or lower and there is no jailbreak available for IOS 9.3.5, This breakthrough in the downgrading exploits will help the people who are stuck on IOS 9.3.5 to downgrade to previous IOS Version in order to jailbreak their devices using Home depot or other jailbreaking tools
This upcoming tool is similar to that of tihmstar, tihmstar has also released a beta tool which works on the same bugs and you can try it if you know what you are doing
This tool with the new offsets can be downloaded from https://github.com/tihmstar/futurerestore
