This post shares the Top Five iOS 10 Camera Photo Apps 2016-17.  We have all been told the best camera is the one in your pocket. That’s never been more true than now with the quality of mobile smartphone cameras. It’s now possible to take dale quality photos using your iPhone.  The quality of Camera apps keeps improving just as the phones do.

The iPhone 7 has one of the top cameras on the market.  However, if you are like many you might still be using a previous model which is definitely no reason to take poor photos.  We have put together a list of five camera apps we think everyone’s needs to improve the quality of their photos.

These are in no particular order so we hope you find one or all of them helpful.  We will focus on the newer applications to keep from sounding repetitive from other post you may have read elsewhere. 

Most of the Camera & Photo Apps in the App store will improve the iOS camera and help improve edits for the most part.  But sometimes you get lucky and find one that just knocks it out of the park.  These are the applications we consider to be better than the others.

Top Five iOS 10 Camera or Photo Apps 2016-17

1.  Pixomatic $4.99 – This app has been featured in “Great Photography Apps” and a few other categories in the App store.  It’s been ranked as #1 paid application in several countries as well.

It is layer based which means it allows users to combine several layers together.  Its great application to blend photos or add text or watermarks.  Many users use it for the sole purpose of adding watermarks to their photos.

2.  Facetune $5.99 This is my most used Camera & Photo editing application period.  It allows users to whiten teeth, straighten items (objects or smiles) in photo, and so much more.  If you don’t download but one application from list make it this app.  This would be a retouching app professional photographers would use daily.  It’s truly that beneficial.  It’s improved my photos quality 100%.  These type edits have only been available to users who understood Photoshop in detail.

FaceTune 2 FREE but it requires you purchase most of the touchup methods.  The other version does not.  So either way you go you will have to pay to get the most use of this application.  However, the free version is a great way to try it before you buy to make certain you like it.  But I can tell you now its probably the single best camera photo app in the app store.

3.  ProCamera $4.99  This is the second most used application in this list for us today.  This will help users take DSLR quality photos.  It has the ability to improve iPhone Photography for both professional or beginner.  It’s proven it will improve anyone photo who uses it.  It has been downloaded over 3 million times so that should speak for itself.

Users will have control over things such as: light, vividHDR, ,Full Screen Trigger and much more. These are only a few of the most used features and best liked personally.

4. PIP Camera-Selfie Cam&Pic Collage&Photo Editor

FREE The best Selfie helper in the App store.  Add your photos inside numerous different objects which look like they were done by professionals.    This app will definitely help you spice up those social media photos to share.

5.  Mextures  $1.99 This is a fantastic application to add yourself into another photo right from your iPhone or iPad.  It will require a small learning curve but take it from someone who uses it, it was well worth it.  They have a great tutorial built into the applications.  This app is much like others we have shared being it uses layers to integrate different photos or filters.
