We have put together a list of what we feel are the Top Free Cydia Tweaks this week for TaiG Jailbreak on iOS 8. Although, there may be other Free tweaks available we chose these ten because they offer the most usability overall to users.
BetterFiveColumnHomeScreen
This adds a fifth row of icons to your screen. Instead of the usual four common rows in iOS 8 users will be able to acquire more screen real estate and use a fifth row. The tweak doesn’t add any options or settings. Just install and use. This will require an added repo http://repo.rpdev.info/
BetterFiveiconDock
This does same thing as the tweak above only adding the fifth row in the dock. Users can now have five icons in the dock using this tweak. This will require an added repo http://repo.rpdev.info/
ReachApp
This tweak adds many great features to the iOS 8 device. It allows users to have a split screen multiscreen device. Users can do separate apps on the top half and bottom half of the screen at the same time. It also allows users to adjust the bottom portion of the screen by dragging a scrub bar. Be sure to check out the video demo below for a look inside the tweak. It too requires an additional tweak. However, this tweak is free at this time because its considered to be in beta. But once it has been submitted to BigBoss repo it will be a paid tweak. So keep that it mind. This will require an added repo http://elijahandandrew.com/repo
CacheClearer
It clears the cache inside the tweak adding more speed to the app you are running, It gives the application more memory to run instead of clogging it up with unnecessary cache. This will require an added repo http://rpetri.ch/repo/
CameraModes
This allows the user to choose which features they want to include inside the camera app. This only works with the stock iOS camera App. Users can choose to remove the different features such as Square, panorama, video, photo, and such. The tweak give much more control of the iOS Camera app.
CircleIcons
Is just a cosmetic tweak which only adds or changes the shape of the icons under the settings menu. It doesn’t add or change any kind of features. The icons inside settings menu are changed to circles using this tweak.
Cobalia
This tweak adds toggles to the multi task switcher in place of the favorites section at the top above the different cards. It allows the users to choose which toggles to show and the order to appear.
Date in StatusBar
This simply adds the date in the center of the status bar beside the time. A very simple tweak but useful tweak too. This will require an added repo http://repo.rpdev.info/
DisturbMeLater
Adds time controls to the DND features of the device. User can long press the DND icon in control center to get a pop up where they can choose how long they want the DND feature to be enabled. Its a great way to keep from forgetting to turn this feature off. This is available in BigBoss Repo.
Notification Killer
Long hold on the notification header to remove all the notifications at one time. It’s available in BigBoss Repo
OneTapClear
This does just what you would think by allowing users to remove the notifications with only one tap,
Repower
This is a great way to add more needed options for repower, reboot, and respring to your device. Just long hold the power button to be presented with this three different sliders.
