We all have been ask these same questions, again and again. Why jailbreak? What is jailbreaking? What are the best tweaks for jailbreaking? I have written articles discussing all those topics. So i thought today I would take a bit of a different approach. What are the best tweaks released during 2012 to have on any iOS device? Some of these tweaks may only be native to one device and not both. Since I have created videos about most of these tweaks at some point in the past I will link each appropriate tweak to a video describing it.

I think it’s only logical to discuss the tweaks everyone doesn’t have or know about. What I mean is tweaks such as SbSettings have been around since the beginning of jailbreaking. I’m not going to count those type of tweaks as part of the best tweaks. So to keep it as organized as I can I will break it down into a couple categories. Oldies but goldies and the newer tweaks category. I couldn’t think of a cute rhyme for the second category, but if you can let me know and I will add it.

Oldies but Goldies:

The list above could be very extensive but these are some of the most familiar tweaks I believe users have on their idevices. If you would like to add a tweak to the list, “Oldie But Goldie”, please leave it in comments below.

The most recent tweaks are the tweaks I want to concentrate on for this article writing. These are tweaks which have been developed in 2012. I think by concentrating on the newer tweaks we can make others aware of the new and best tweaks. There have been many great tweaks developed this year so its going to be a challenge to choose the best. The tweak list could have been a hundred items each but we need to be realistic with time and space. Jailbreaking takes lots of reading and wanting to make your device better.
