Turn Photo Stream Into Public Website

Simply take the photo you want to share or choose a photo from the stream  you already have and share it publicly.  During the process of sharing the photo you will see a very long URL across the bottom of the page with domain iCloud.com in it.  The URL with be linked to the Title of your Photo Stream in the email.

Make certain you have the proper options enabled to share Photo Stream.

Setting App > iCloud > Photo Stream

  1. Photo Stream  Toggle On: My Photo Stream, Shared Photo Streams IMG_0747

Follow the instructions below to turn a photo into a public URL:

  • Open Settings App > Tap “Photos & Camera”

 

Create or choose the Photo Stream you wish to share publicly.

 

Users Without Photo Stream Created

How to create a photo album:  Open Photo App > Tap “Photo Stream” at bottom > Tap “Edit” > Choose all the Photos you wish to have in an album.  After selecting all the photos you wish to have in the album tap “Save”.  You

 

Open Photo App, select the album you wish to share or create an album.  If you need to know how to create an album follow instructions below if not you may skip over “How to create a photo album”.

will be given a couple options “Save to existing album” or “Save to New Album”.  Tap the option that’s right for you.

 

 

 

Users Who have a Photostream follow below.

Sharing the Photo Stream publicly is very simple to accomplish.

 

Open Photo app > Tap “Photo Stream” > Choose the photos you wish to share.  It can be only one photo or as many as you prefer.  Be sure to tap each photo you wish to share.  This will place a checkmark on the photos you wish to share in the website.

Once you are finished making selection tap the “share” button.  This will bring up the a popup dialog box where you can choose to add the selected photos to an existing stream or create a new Photo Stream.  If this is your first Photo Stream just tap New Photo stream.  Now when you go back to your photo album you will see the new Photo Stream listed.  It will be listed under the Photos App > Photo stream section.

 

The popup box below shows the options for share, deleting, or adding photos to an already created stream or site with the name of the stream.  Choose the photos you wish to share and tap share.  This will bring up selections for sharing the photo as seen below.  You will need to select photo stream.

Selecting Photo Stream in the photo shown above will bring up the option to “Add to a Photo Stream”

Choose the Stream you wish to share the Photos in and hit “Post”.  This will add the photos to the desired Photo stream.

 

Final Step:

After adding the photo’s to the proper stream users must tap the blue arrow to share the Stream.  Tap the blue arrow and tap “share link”.  Choose the desired method for sharing.  Users mat share through mail, twitter, Facebook, and iMessage.  That’s it…..

 

 

Condensed version:

Open Settings App make sure both toggles are on for sharing Photo Streams(My Photo Stream, Shared Photo Streams) under Photo & Camera

  1. Tap “Photo Stream”
  2. Select Photos you wish to share and add them to the proper “Photo Stream” title
  3. Tap Blue Arrow
  4. Tap Share Link
  5. Choose how you wish to share

 

That’s really all there is to it.  All the steps above are for users who have never used Photo Stream or create a Stream or album.
