One of the most popular tweaks developed was Barrel. Now from the developer of Barrel, Aaron Ash has created a full home screen replacement Apple Watch lovers are sure to love. The Cydia Tweak is called WatchBoard. It’s currently in the BigBoss Repo for $3.99.
WatchBoard is a full home screen replacement for Jailbroken iOS 8 devices. The Apple Watch layout can now be seen or used on your iOS 8 device. It’s an incredible smooth journey around your homescreen with WatchBoard enable. The icons are totally arrangeable however the user wishes. They can be grouped according to category or even design an image right on your homescreen using the icons. The entire interface is zoomable so users an get a birds eye view of how their apps appear on the screen. Users can also zoom in by pinching the screen.
One of the biggest drawbacks I see with WatchBoard is it doesn’t include an Activator action for enabling/disabling. This makes it much easier to use and just a preference of mine. Aeternum was a recent release of basically the same type of tweak but offered many more features plus it included Activator actions for turning the tweak on/off. Eternal also left the dock for finding most used apps much faster. Although, Watchboard has a better UI experience I just preferred Aeternum. Aeternum is a bit cheaper too at $2.99.
