wordly
Wordly – More fun than your mother’s word game – Scopely – Top Free Apps and Games LLC
Wordly is an amazing new game for the iOS devices. In the game you must create words out of letters laid out in a 5 by 5 pattern. Sometimes words are easy to make but other times it gets more challenging, which adds to the game in a way that makes you have to add some thought to your word choices. The main objective of the game is to dominate the board with your colour, as every time you use a letter on the board it becomes your colour. You can even lock out a letter, but the only way to fully lock out a letter so your opponent cannot use that certain piece again is to fill in its surrounding letters with your colour. When one player has many pieces locked out, it makes the game incredibly difficult because you have to come up with words using a limited choice of letters. When one player cannot make anymore words, or has locked out the entire board the game is over and a victor is named.

This game has an online function that allows you to play with people around the world in a heated battle to prove superiority, and rise to the top. It plays like any online game, you choose your word that you can make and then you have to wait for your opponent to create a word. It is recommended that you allow push notifications for this game, so when your opponent has finished their turn you know right away and are able to play your turn. If you are not quite up for a battle against someone else, you can battle against the greats of time, like; William Shakespeare, Albert Einstein, and even Count Dracula! Each of the computer players will become progressively more difficult as you go a long, but with some practice you can be among the greats as you make your way to victory.

Some of the apps key features include;

· Expand the lexicon with cool power-ups: Wordsmiths can amp up their game with Wild Tiles, which provide letters that aren’t on the board for building more complex words, and Word Hint power-ups to enhance gameplay.

· More ways to win with daily achievements: Enjoy a variety of fresh and challenging gaming experiences with special daily game boards and daily word list achievements. Players can also participate in long-term challenges to gain trophies and bragging rights, climbing the Wordly ranks from “novice” to “master” and beyond.

· Challenge historical figures in single-player mode: Wordly’s challenging “Play the Greats” mode pits single-players against historical greats such as Shakespeare, Einstein and Count Dracula. Each character comes complete with his or her own unique brand of smack-talk, as well as a beautifully drawn original portrait. Players can find the greats collections in themed halls, such as Monster Manor and American Lit. 101.

· Socialize and battle friends in multi-player mode: Play dozens of games at once with friends and family anywhere in the world. Players can connect with friends through Facebook, Twitter or SMS and chat with buddies via in-game messaging.

In conclusion, Wordly is an amazing game that deserves its place among the greatest apps ever for iOS devices. It has many amazing features that will keep you addicted for many hours. With a free price tag, there is absolutely no reason why this game cannot be on your device, for you to enjoy.
