While it comes as a relief to know that WhatsApp prevents the government from spying into everyone’s phones through end-to-end encryption, there is another good news for employers. Monitoring on employees through a company issued cell phone, and after informing the employee that it is a company policy to monitor everything, employers can pry on their workers. Although there has been a lot of discussion about how ethical it is to spy on employees, the court has ruled in favor of employers, as confirmed by The Telegraph. This is why; the Android and Apple spy app market is witnessing an increase in such apps each year.

What does an Android or Apple spy app offer?

Depending on which app you choose, the features available may vary. Sometimes, apps don’t offer more than three features, like email monitoring, Skype monitoring, and text monitoring. Others offer GPS tracking, monitoring browser history, and installed apps in addition to other features. However, XNSPY is one of the few ingenious apps that offer a lot more features, all in one package. Here’s a list of advantages employers can make the most out of by using such Android and iOS monitoring apps:

Monitor SMS – Employers can keep regular checks on the text messages sent and received by employees while at work. If there is anything that goes against the company’s policies, they can act on it.

Monitor internet messengers – While using apps like Skype may be a necessity for the business, employers can make sure the employees don’t use other apps like WhatsApp, Viber, Kik, and Line for personal reasons. The app can keep track of all calls, videos, and photos sent and received via these messengers.

Monitor Facebook messenger and Instagram – If employees install Facebook messenger and Instagram on the company issued device, employers can keep regular checks to make sure that they don’t disclose sensitive company secrets.

Monitor photos and videos – For protection against espionage or workplace crimes and sexual harassment, employers can constantly check the cell phones of all employees to protect every other worker.

Monitor apps installed – If employers have a problem with the employees’ installing specific apps, the app allows users to block those apps.

Monitor browsing history and bookmarks – Because efficiency at work is one of the main challenges owners face, this feature allows them to monitor time spend on browsing rather than working. If the need arises, employers can take disciplinary action against employees.

Monitor calls and record surroundings – Sometimes, eavesdropping on what employees say behind the employer’s back can help improve the workplace environment.

Monitor GPS locations – For employers who have mobile teams out in the field, this feature provides accurate GPS locations with timestamps. This way, they know where each employee is at any given time.

Use Geo-fencing – Via this feature, employers can mark no-go areas. If the employee enters those places, or leaves a watch-listed zone, the app sends an alert to the employer.

Get alerts 24/7 – Whenever the target employee has activity on the iOS or android device, the app updates the employer. From the control panel the employer can see any activity, like watch-listed words or contact with watch-listed people.

Use watch-list feature for contacts and words – These features in XNSPY help the employers by informing them whenever the employee goes against privacy policies or restrictions. With sufficient evidence, they can take action when the need arises.

Monitor emails – Most people install the Gmail app on their devices. With this monitoring app, employers can see all incoming and outgoing emails to make sure the employee doesn’t breach the company’s privacy policy.

Monitor calendar entries – From the control panel, employers can also keep track of scheduled events the target employee plans to attend.

Stay undetectable – After informing the employees about the company’s policy about monitoring them, employers can remain undetected because the app works in stealth mode.

Remote access – If the need arises, employers can lock the iOS or Android device from the control panel. Moreover, they can wipe off all data.

Primary Reason for using a Spy App

For employers who use similar Apple Spy app, the main objective of using such apps is to maintain efficiency, protect company secrets, and to protect the employees from unforeseen harm.

Conclusively, with these meticulous features, employers can ensure robust employee monitoring. Besides, as an increasing number of people use these apps, there will be newer upgrades in the app stores. Therefore, it is necessary to keep an eye on the latest updates that these apps get each year.
