A well known YouTuber, EverythingApplesPro, posted an interesting video his channel over the weekend. This video shows a speed test of all 10 iPhone models side by side. This includes the iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4s, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, and the original iPhone.
Measuring 4 minutes long, the video shows multiple tests including shutdown, power up, Safari loading, and Geekbench scores. For the most part everything is what you expect. Newer models stomping on its predecessors.
Again, nothing mind blowing. The video does show the evolution of the iPhone, and how much it’s changed. The iPhone is updated on a yearly basis, and for the most part everything is incremental. But we sometimes forget how far the iPhone has come since its original unveiling.
The company announced the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus earlier this month and they both went on sale September 19. Apple called the two smartphones the “The Biggest advancements in iPhone history,” and they both include much larger displays, a new design, better cameras, and the new A8 system-on-a-chip processor.
