AppHeads is an awesome Cydia tweak for multitasking on iOS devices which is compatible with iOS 7 to iOS 8.1 on Jailbroken devices. AppHeads takes the chathead experience which was first seen in Facebook and combines it with the ability to interact with all applications running in the background instead of conversations. It works basically just like the Facebook Chathead experience.
AppHeads is available in BigBoss Repo for $4.99. It was developed by tweak developer sharedRoutine. It’s definitely a much faster way to multitask. Users can customize the way AppHeads functions inside the Settings Menu by changing the settings to suit each individuals preferences. It can be setup to have the AppHeads to lock to the top bottom, left, or right side of the screen. Users can just swipe an app to the bottom of the screen to close it. This was the same way the Facebook Chathead worked for closing conversations.
AppHeads is setup to interact with all applications by default but can be changed to only be used with certain applications. That’s probably a more organized way to use it rather than having all the different apps running in background Appheads open on the screen. But here again its personal preference.
AppHeads opens a preview of the applications running but users can interact inside the preview without opening it completely. However, in order to open the app in full screen users can choose from a couple options, single tap action or hold action. These are settings which can be customized to each person’s preferences.
