We’ve been using credit and debit cards for over 5 decades. It’s a long and annoying process. Apple has come up with a new payment process, and they call it Apple Pay. Apple Pay uses NFC technology to achieve this. Since it’s Apple, it’ll be simple. To use Apple Pay you can swipe your device.
Apple has made it clear that they care about privacy. No matter where you buy, when you bought it, they won’t store credit card information, or how much you’ve paid, Apple will not store any of this information.
Apple Pay will support AmericanExpress, MasterCard, Visa and 6 major banks in the United States. In terms of stores, more than 22,000 retailers will work with Apple Pay including Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Wallgreens, Duane Reade, Subway, McDonalds, and Apple’s on Apple Retail Store.
Online? Apple will allow you to buy with a single touch. Filling in your CC information such as name, address, and expiration date. Starbucks, Uber, GroupOn, and Major League Baseball are onboard with Apple Pay.
