Discovered by iFun Monday morning, Apple is introducing a new return policy on digital content in several European countries including the UK, Germany, and France. The new policy gives users 14 days to return digital content form iTunes. This includes apps, music, and books.
An excerpt from Apple UK’s Terms of Service:
Right of cancellation: If you choose to cancel your order, you may do so within 14 days from when you received your receipt without giving any reason, except iTunes Gifts which cannot be refunded once you have redeemed the code.
The Cupertino Company will issue the refund within the first two weeks of getting customer’s order cancellation. This is likely due to the new customer protection policies in Europe.
