In addition to in-store purchases, Apple Pay will be available online through third-party apps. This method of Apple Pay will be available on the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3.
Apple Pay will be available this upcoming Monday with support for a handful of merchants, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. In the online world, they will be compatible with the Apple Online Store, Disney, and many others. Apple Pay will be released alongside iOS 8.1. In fact, they will only be available on devices running iOS 8.1 or higher.
