Apple Stops Signing 10.1.1 and what this means or us
Just as we have been told Apple has stopped signing iOS 10.1.1 and 10.0.1. We hope you used your time wisely and got iOS 10.1.1 installed. Developer and hacker, Lucas Tedesco stated a few days ago we needed to install iOS 10.1.1 to have a better chance for a iOS 10 Jailbreak.
Apple stops signing 10.1.1 Downgrade No Longer Possible
Hopefully you understand that this mean you can no longer Downgrade or save .shs2 blobs if you haven’t already done so earlier. Whether you have your blobs eavesdrop or not there still some good news on the front. Developer tihmstar has stated he will release Prometheus around New Years. Be sure you download this new software when it comes available. He also stated we will be able to upgrade or downgrade firmware without the need for Apple signing it. Now this will be awesome, if it comes. This reminds me of how it was years ago when I first started jailbreaking. Apple didn’t have so much control of what we could or could not do with our devices.
If we gain control of downgrading and upgrading firmwares we sill see a great rise in the jailbreak community again. This is one of the reasons that so many have grown tired of jailbreaking.
