If you’ve been keeping a close watch on what Apple will do during the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2014, you’ll probably need to keep waiting a little bit more. Despite the rumors, Apple has been keeping this a top secret. Among the rumors that have emerged include Dr. Dre and Kobe Bryant joining the Apple family; as well as the release of the iWatch and an updated Apple TV. You’ll need to wait until the June 2 event until you get answers from Apple’s Keynote address.
After last week’s frenzy on the news about a potential Beats by Dre buyout on the part of Apple, people assumed that Dr. Dre will be part of the company. Despite awaiting confirmation on this, people were mostly excited over the idea of a MacBook or iPad equipped with Beats Audio; which would revolutionize the company’s product range a whole deal. Not to mention, incorporating Beats Audio streaming service together with iTunes would make Apple the online music king.
Another rumor that has emerged from all the excitement had something to do after Kobe Bryant was spotted on campus eating lunch with some of the company’s developers. Many speculated that this would mean the Los Angeles Lakers star would be making the move from Lenovo to Apple. Noting, however, that Bryant had just recently extended his endorsement with Lenovo, this might not be the real reason behind the visit.
As of this writing, Apple has been successful in keeping everything top secret. The scheduled sessions aren’t doing much to reveal their plans, as these have been replaced with secretive names like: “To Be Announced,” “Bet You Can’t Wait to Know,” “We Have to Keep This Quiet Still,” and “Shh, Can’t Tell You Yet.” Until then, we’ll have to wait just a few more days until Apple finally reveals its plans for WWDC 2014. Do you have any guesses? Share them with us!
