iOS 8 was released to the public earlier this morning. Developers are now rushing to push updates via the App Store. A handful of apps including new ones are now taking advantage of the Notification Center Widgets, which is now available for users running iOS 8.

- Discover (free) – the app of the credit card company of the same name
- Dropbox (free) – a service that lets you store files online
- Duolingo (free) – an app to learn foreign languages
- Evernote (free) – a productivity app to keep you organized
- Finish (free) – a to-do list app
- Forecast+ ($0.99) – a weather forecast widget
- iTranslate (free) – an app that lets you translate sentences to other languages
- Kanvas (free) – an app for stitching together videos, photos and gifs
- Matter ($1.99) – a cool photo editing app
- News Republic (free) – a news app
- NYT Now (free) – an app with exclusive content from the New York Times
- NYTimes (free) – the official New York Times app
