It’s that time of week when we share the Best Five Tweaks of The Week. We do these every Sunday so be sure to catch them weekly. This is a great way to stay up to date on all the best tweaks if you don’t have time to watch every day. Although, we do put up the best tweaks we find on a daily basis. This week was somewhat fruitful.
Best Five Cydia Tweaks of The Week December 14 Edition
PowerInformer This Free tweak can be customized to alert the iOS user at any point during battery depletion. If the user wants to be notified when it reaches 50% and every 10% there after, PowerInformer can be set to do this with just a few simple updates under the settings app.
Dim Allows the brightness to be lowered even lower than Apple allows. Have you ever felt like the brightness of the screen was to bright even though you had your brightness setting turned all the way down? This Free tweak allows users to take it lower.
BurstGif can be purchased in BigBoss Repo for $1.49. It allows users to create GIF files using photos taken with the stock camera app. Users will need to take photos using the burst mode. After taking the photos they can be exported using this tweak to create GIF files. Once the files have been created if you want to view them on your iOS device you will need to install an additional tweak called GiF viewer for an additional $0.99. However, this cydia tweak isn’t necessary to use this tweak only more convenient. Once you upload the GIF online you can watch it or email it to your computer and watch it too.
Open in Protube 2 allows users to open url’s in the Protube app directly. Protube is a Youtube application users can get for $1.99. It has many more options for watching and controlling your channel.
PM, Really? A Free Tweak users can use to make certain they are setting their alarms for the correct time am/pm. If you set an alarm for pm the tweak will show an alert asking you if you meant to set the alarm for PM. I know theirs been times I have overslept because I set the clock for 6PM instead of 6AM.
