The Single Best Hidden Feature in iOS 10: Never Drop Another Call From Poor Service
It seems we are always seeing ten hidden features for iOS 10 that will change your life headlines these days. However, this is one hidden feature, in iOS 10, you don’t want to miss.
Living in a remote area which doesn’t provide the best service at times and often terrible indoors, we now have the solution. It’s called wi-fi calling. Whether you are using your iPhone underground won’t cause the signal to drop as long as you have wifi service to connect your iPhone too.
It really amazes me when I learn something new like this about the iOS firmware which can, in fact, help with everyday living. It works very simply too. Just follow the steps below to enable wifi calling:
How To Enable WiFi Calling in iOS 10:
Step 1: Open Settings > Phone > Wi-Fi Calling
Step 2: Enable WiFi Calling -Toggle On
Step 3: After Enabling WiFi Calling users will need to enter a 911 Emergency address. This address is only used in case of emergency. Each time you use WiFi Calling users will be required to update this address. However, it’s very fast to just use the same address each time should you prefer. If you feel this is an invasion of privacy just make up an address. Personally, I live alone and would prefer they find men should I nee 911services.
Users can now enjoy sitting indoors without the need to stand on one leg to get clear reception. I’m sure we all have done the can you hear me now a few times. LOL
