Android phones have their fair share of goodies, but iPhones just carry the day. Here are seven good reasons to get an iPhone.

Are you looking for your next smartphone?

Your smartphone is a huge part of your life, so you want to make sure you have the very best for your needs. But with so many brands and devices out there, it can be hard to know what to select.

Don’t worry! Read on for our 7 reasons to get an iPhone today. You won’t be disappointed.

1. Apple’s Ecosystem

Over the years, the range of produce Apple offers has grown. They started out with computers, but now offer smartwatches, tablets, phones and more.

Nowadays, they pretty much have a device for every tech service you might need. And the good news, all these devices work in perfect harmony together. You only need to sign in with your Apple ID to sync them all up.

This means all your contacts, photos, emails and more can transfer across your devices. You also don’t need to pay twice for any paid content you might have like music or movies. You can find more here at https://setapp.com/how-to/sync-contacts-from-iphone-to-mac.

Apple’s closed ecosystem offers great user security. Your operating environment is far more secure. That’s because users, devices, app developers and manufacturers are in the same system.

With Android phones, this isn’t the case. Many different phone/tablet manufacturers use the same operating system – or similar. This cannot guarantee a safe ecosystem, or that your devices will sync well together.

2. Apple Pay

Apple’s payment system is Apple Pay. This lets you use debit and credit cards to make payments on your phone for things like music and movies. It works like contactless payments, and you can pay in one click.

Apple keeps your card safe from unauthorized payments or access in a few ways. You’ll need to either use FaceID, TouchID(fingerprints) or a passcode. You can also use Apple Pay to make in-app purchases.

It’s competitor, Google Play, isn’t available in many countries yet. If you need an easy way to make mobile payments, Apple iPhones are the way to go!

3. Information Security

It’s considered that Apple devices are more secure than their Android counterparts. 97% of recent smartphone malware is targeted at Android devices.

The app store on Android devices is usually where malware and viruses get picked up. Apple is meticulous in selecting which apps get approval in their store. So while they may have fewer apps to offer, you can be sure that any dodgy apps will not have made the cut.

Google’s app store is ad-supported and a free environment. Anyone can put their apps up for download. With Android phones, you can also install apps from outside the store. This makes monitoring for viruses and malware impossible.

4. Less Unnecessary Features

Don’t get us wrong, iPhones come with their share of pointless features too. Newsstand for example, that you can’t move to another folder or out of the way. But when it comes to pointless features that you can’t delete – Android wins out.

The list for Android includes Google Play apps, if it’s a Samsung all the Samsung features, and Verizon. Apple has avoided carrier’s apps bombarding your screens. With Androids though, it’s a constant stream of upselling.

5. Ease of Use and Consistency

Due to the popular and simple interface of the iPod touch, which iPhones use, making that switch feels familiar and easy. A common issue with Android phones is apps ending up configured wrong which is easy to do. This can result in the app not working well or doing what it should.

The iPhone makes sure that apps are functioning how they should be for you. This is often considered one of the best features of the iPhone. It simplifies and enhances the user experience.

There is consistency across the board with iPhones, as each model works the same. With Androids though, each one works in a different way.

Depending on which provider you’re with, there are even different launchers used. This means if you have a preferred one, you have to install it yourself. While freedom of choice can be a good thing, it’s not very predictable, or practical for most users.

When it comes to searching, this is easier on the iPhone. You go to the left of the homepage, and you can find the search function. With Androids, you have to go into the Google app and go via the settings menu there… which can be over-complicated and confusing. It’s way easier and hassle-free on an iPhone!

6. Family Sharing

If your entire family is using Apple devices, the iPhone is a great choice for the kids. The phone is super safe for kids to use, with parental control and the ability to keep an eye on what they’re using it for.

Along with this, the Family Sharing function makes family living far easier. It allows up to 6 members of the family to share music, movies, photos, purchases, and more.

You don’t have to worry about the kids downloading inappropriate content either. Family Sharing is where parental control functions are set. If you want to keep track of the kids when they’re out of the house, you can use the Find My Friendsfeature.

7. No Bloatware

One of the biggest pains about Androids is the amount of bloatware that comes with it. Most manufacturers install a lot of this bloatware which takes up valuable storage space on the device.

With the iPhone though, it doesn’t come with any pre-installed software. This means you’ll have more storage and an overall cleaner experience when you first load it up.

Even though Apple has some apps that you might think pointless, you’ll have a lot more control compared to Android. Android has a lot more unwanted features, apps, and software to clutter up your device. Apple iPhones also allow you to disable built-in apps post iOS 10 update.

Reasons to Get an iPhone Made Easy

So there you have it! If all of the above reasons to get an iPhone tick the boxes for you, then what are you waiting for?

With little to no bloatware, you don’t have to worry about precious storage being taken up from the start. It’s also safe and simple for all the family to use and easy to link up all your devices.
