If you use the calendar app to record upcoming events, you may have noticed that the only events that show up on the notification center is that of the same day and the next. However, a new tweak appears to remove this limitation and give you a more detailed view of events.
Called ‘Calendar for NC’, the tweak allows you to view events of multiple days in the notification center giving you a greater detail of information. Once you’ve installed the tweak, you’ll have to enable it from the Notification Center pane in the Settings app.
You can also configure and customize the look of the events from the tweak’s preference pane. You’ll get the option to adjust, if you wish, the size of the widget, select the calendars manually or choose to use the calendar app. In addition, you can select the number of days to display, the maximum number of events, enable/disable the display of location, separator lines as well as set an action when you slide an event. This means you can choose the app that you want to open, whether the calendar app or a 3rd party app, when you slide on the event. You can also choose the text color and size of the event location, date and time as well as choose the icon style of the events in the notification center.
Note that if you own Calendar for Lockscreen, then Calendar for NC is a free download for you or otherwise, if you buy Calendar for NC then Calendar for Lockscreen will be a free download.
If you’re interested, you can purchase this tweak from Cydia’s BigBoss repo for $1.99 and it works on iOS 7 devices.
