How to Make iOS 10 Jailbreak More Stable: Fix Random Reboots
Users having issues using Yalu Jailbreak can try the methods here too.
One of the unfortunate parts of using Mach Portal to Jailbreak iOS 10 is the lack of its completion. It was released as beta version and has remained since its release. Luca Todesco, developer of iOS 10 Jailbreak, basically never looked at Mach Portal again after the releases. He released it as a beta which was a very poor decision on his part. I understand users were itching for a jailbreak but not one undercooked. Anyway, many users are only able to use this version based on the device and firmware version combination.
For example, Mach Portal is the only way to Jailbreak iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 + on iOS 10. Now I can admit I rather have the Mach Portal jailbreak as nothing but not when the reboots are just overbearing.
There appears to be an issue with certain devices rebooting randomly for no reason. We have a few ways to combat these issues. Try the easy ones first before diving into the MTerminal.
Devices having issues:
- iPhone 7
- iPhone 7 plus
- iPad Air 2
- iPad Mini 4
How To Improve iOS 10 Device Performance No MTerminal Needed
We have a few ideas for making the jailbreak better. Before we get into the main way to add stability to iOS 10 Jailbreak using Mach Portal lets share a few good housekeeping ways for all jailbreak users. The biggest reason users have issues when jailbroken is pirated cracked tweaks and apps. Stop using pirated tweaks and apps. You will see immediate improvements in the way your iPhone or iPad performs. I can personally tell you this does matter and makes the devices perform poorly. Pirated tweaks aren’t updated properly and developers insert code to cause issues when pirated. Give it a try and let us know what happens!
First, anytime you notice your device start to become slow, lagging in apps, or just overall decline in performance. Download iCleaner Pro from Cydia and run it. This will most likely take care of 99% of issues you may have. Now if you will run this weekly you can nip most big issues before they occur. Give it a try and I can almost guarantee you will be using this in the future. This is just good housekeeping ways for anyone who is jailbroken. The second way to improve performance is to limit the number of tweaks installed on the device. Keep in mind every tweak installed must be ready at the tap the finger. This means your iOS 10 device is always running and checking these in the background. The more tweaks it has to keep up with the slower it will become over time.
Be aware of large tweaks such as Springtomize 4 can do almost anything needed from hundreds of smaller tweaks needed for the same functions. Be aware what you are wanting to do isn’t already available in a tweak already installed. I know this may sound silly but this happens daily by thousands.
