One of the new features Apple has added to iOS 8 is the use of third party keyboard apps. Users will now be able to change the keyboard color and much more using third party Keyboard apps. We have broken it down into easy to understand steps below.
How to install Third Party Keyboards
1. Choose the Keyboard App you wish to install from the App store. Currently the list is kinda short but some of the popular ones include SwiftKey, Swype, Fleksy, Minuum, and others.

2. Tap Settings to get started
3. Choose general from inside Settings menu

4. Select Keyboard from inside General

5. Tap Keyboard from the Keyboards Menu

6. Add New KEYBOARD from the Keyboard Menu

7. Select the keyboard you just installed from the list

8. The Keyboard will be added to your personal list. It may be necessary to provide full access. Be certain you trust the developer of the keyboard before granting Full Access


9. Now you can navigate to any applications which uses a keyboard such as Notes. You should be able to cycle through all the keyboards you currently have installed by tapping the globe in the lower left of the keyboard.
