iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak Released but Developers Only
You should not try the current iOS 10.1.1 Jailbreak unless you have developer experience. This is not a complete stable tool which will install Cydia on your device like others have in the past. It’s only a good start for such a tool. Hopefully, someone will take this code and build a complete stable iOS 10 Jailbreak using this information. Personally, I see this as great progress in the right direction. This tool will not install Cydia on your device. Confusing right, I know, so we will try to shed some light on the topic so you better understand what this is and what it means for normal users. This is intended for developers or hackers who may want to try to build astable jailbreak and release it to the public. The most recent public jailbreak release was iOS 9.3.3.
We have been getting numerous emails daily asking if this jailbreak will work on this device or that device and will it work on iOS 10.x.x. We DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS!!!!! It’s almost certain you will just have to restore your device and not be jailbroken. Unless you have an extra ‘test’ device just wait for the stable jailbreak coming.
Personally, I don’t know why someone would try this when they have no idea what they are doing. But as crazy as that sounds, we get help emails daily after a users has tried to use this.
There’s a group of developers from Google referred to as ‘Project Zero’ who try to find exploits in different types of software. They have been sharing this iOS jailbreak information and exploit tool. However, Lucas Todesco released video showing iOS 10 Jailbreak several weeks ago. So I’m sure he will be part of the upcoming iOS 10 Jailbreak. He strongly suggested downgrading to iOS 10.1.1, especially on the iPhone 7. If you need to get your device ready for the new iOS 10 Jailbreak you should follow our tutorial on How to Downgrade iOS 10.2 to iOS 10.1.1.
