As an iPad user, it can be very frustrating to discover that a new iPad model has been released in the market. Especially for those who want to stay on top of the latest gadgets, it is important for these individuals to be able to get the devices that are new and fresh. For iPad users based in the UK, France, Germany, and Spain; there is a new program that they can use to get a new device.
iPad users based in the above mentioned countries now have an ability to trade-in their old device in exchange of credit. Using this credit, they can purchase a new Apple device; thanks to Apple’s iPad trade-in program. By expanding this program internationally, Apple is able to provide their users a way to exchange their old gadgets for new ones. However, they won’t be able to trade these devices in for cash. Instead, they get these devices exchanged to Apple Store credit that they can use to purchase the latest iPad or iPhone model.
Reportedly, the in-store iPad trade-in program was launched in Europe on Monday; despite being available in the US since last month. As of this writing, the models available under the trade-in program include the iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, and iPad mini models. The new iPad Air or Retina Mini are not included in the trade-in program. There are no details as to how much credit Apple is giving away to used iPad models in European countries. But when compared to US rates, an iPad 4 in good condition with Wifi-only and 16GB memory can be traded for a $200 credit.
Through this program, Apple is able to give their users an option to recycle their old devices. If you’re hoping to get the latest model, this is a chance you should not miss!
