Both models of the iPhone 6 aren’t set to go on sale until Friday. If you were part of the four million who’ve pre-ordered over the weekend, than your new iPhone may be in one of these cargo planes allegedly holding Apple’s next generation smartphone.
According to MacRuomrs forum user GoForBlackSky these photos show a 747 cargo coming directly from China. The plane landed in Anchorage and is expected to head to Chicago. From that point, it will be distributed all across the United States. This most likely holds a small number of iPhone 6 devices. With a ton more 747’s heading to the U.S. coming directly from China.
It’s worth noting this is GoForBlackSky’s very first post on MacRumors. Though it seems he’s pretty knowledgable about the cargo. Pointing out certain things only a pilot would know. He may also be an aviation enthusiast. However the cargo may contain nothing. There’s no real indication wether or not this cargo is full of iPhones.
Unless you’ve snagged a pre-order, it look like your only other choice is to camp out. GoForBlackSky explains that the kind of resources it takes to transport just a small amount of iPhones ahead of big launches sure puts it all into perspective.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be launching this Friday. Did you pre-order? Or will you be camping out?
