The iRig Mic Cast is an ultra compact microphone for recording podcast, lectures, musical instruments, and much more. The iRig makes creating professional sounding audio very simple. The iRig microphone includes a stand and two free apps for using the mic.
It’s a great way for musicians to record on the spur of the moment. It makes getting that next best hit recorded before forgetting it to get it on paper. By using the iRig microphone users don’t run the risk of forgetting the song before getting it on paper. Simply take out your iPhone, plug the iRig into the headphone jack, and begin recording. It takes only seconds to set up and you never know it’s in your pocket while carrying it. One app for recording lectures and such, the other app is for recording singers.

Users will find the two free applications much helpful. It’s very affordable at only $39.99. It’s compatible with either the iPhone or Android devices. The apps can be found in the iTunes store or Google play for Android devices. One of the best features I enjoy on the iRig mic is using it for conference calls. I have found using the iRig during calls with the speaker phone enable helps listeners hear you much clearer and better overall.
